Far-Reaching Food Terms Like “Local”

It’s true that these food terms can have a plethora of meanings. If you look at them literally, they are too general to apply to a specific category. For example, as Mario Batali points out, “farm-to-table” can mean anything that is grown that we eat, including produce from industrialized farms.
