Pastries in Paris! We went to Les Fees Patissieres, whose pastry chef–Eddie Benghanem–works with Gordon Ramsay in Versailles. The tarte vanille (the glistening white dome, second from the right) consists of shortbread, almond meringue, vanilla ganache, and vanilla panna cotta–quite a lot to pack into a little tart. And it’s hardly plain old vanilla…
