Parisian Territory

Terroir Parisien, that is, is a modern bistro specializing in ingredients found in the regions surrounding Paris. The chef, Yannick Alleno of Le Meurice fame, is focusing on local food. And when I say “modern,” I am referring to the decor only; the dishes are old-fashioned French classics. For example, our charcuteries platter included a pate en croute, rillettes, and cornichons served on a clean slate; the duck pot-au-feu was delicious in a simple white bowl; and the fromage from Meaux among other nearby areas was aesthetically arranged.
